Lecture with Mohammad Salemy
Chair: Arman Heljic
18/11, 10.15-12.00 Room Vasa 3145
In this lecture, Mohammad Salemy speaks about the consequences of cybernetic technologies on critical thought, (counter) cultural production, and art education. The lecture will focus on the methodologies he has developed with his colleagues at the New Centre for Research & Practice in relation to writing, content production, and meme-making. The lecture culminates in how these technologies and methods are central to new platform-based institution building on precarious digital media. The lecture will frame this practice not only as a form of artistic & Intellectual one but a new way of developing artist-intellectual networks across the globe as well as ways of building informal educational platforms capable of addressing the crisis of higher education we have inherited from the 19th and the 20th centuries.
